The Christmas Tree

From my earliest recollections, the Christmas tree has been pivotal in Yuletide celebrations. Mistletoe was hung from the ceiling, and an evergreen wreath hung on the outside of our front door. But, it is the tree that took centre stage at Christmas — decorated with colourful lights, baubles, and trimmings.
